Offline progression
What the game freezes, advances, and reports while you are away.
Offline progression continues an already prepared hunt. It does not invent a new plan while you are away.
The offline snapshot
Section titled “The offline snapshot”When the active session becomes offline, the server records an authoritative snapshot of the hunt: map, build and skill configuration, supplies, inventory constraints, ruleset version, and the state required to reproduce outcomes.
During that offline window:
- the selected map and preparation remain frozen;
- online-only rare events do not occur;
- supplies and carrying capacity still matter;
- configured time, reward, and processing limits are enforced by the server;
- returning produces a summary instead of replaying every hidden action.
Why a hunt can stop
Section titled “Why a hunt can stop”An offline hunt can end before you return if its allowed time expires, required supplies run out, the character can no longer sustain the map, or inventory constraints prevent more loot. The return report should identify the limiting event so the next preparation decision is useful.
